Someone posted this quote from Fane in Divinity Original Sin 2, and I thought it was worth keeping.

If you have spent your life staring at a thing, you can write about it with knowledge. You can write about it with love. But it is almost impossible to write about it with wonder.

I've never kept Fane around long enough to get any of his banter, but maybe I should change that...
